I moved to the area 2 years ago and I went through 5 physios in the Ross area who just couldn’t provide the level of treatment I had previously received…..and then I found Rebecca!
Some of the best treatment I’ve received in the 10 years. Extremely knowledgeable and great technique to resolve my issues and help me maintain being pain free. Thank you!

As a massage therapist myself it's so important to me that I get the best quality massage from someone highly trained and experienced in understanding muscles, posture and wellbeing. Well I've found it with RK Soft Tissue Massage therapy! My shoulders were niggly and I was having some lower back pain and Rebecca listened to my issues and addressed them through The. Best. Massage. She is friendly, knowledgeable and very good at massage, I felt totally different afterwards, I'm moving better and I will definitely be booking in again when I'm next in the area.

What is Soft Tissue Therapy?
I trained at the Oxford School of Sports Massage & qualified as a Level 5 Soft Tissue Massage Therapist.
Sports massage is the foundation from which our skills were developed & there are additional modalities added to our skillset which make us proud to be Soft Tissue Therapists.
Working with the nervous system in mind, soft tissue therapy helps to reduce hypersensitivity & take the body out of fight or flight mode (brought about by pain stimulus), reducing the state of tension within the muscles.
Viewing the muscular system as a work force that requires a balance between length & tension also allows me to treat with a more holistic approach.
Each treatment is fully tailored to each individual & treatments include a range of massage techniques, movement & passive & active stretching, in addition to useful ideas to take home to help you make positive, long term changes.
Benefits of Soft Tissue Massage
Soft Tissue Therapy has a positive effect on circulation.
The techniques used in Soft Tissue Massage stimulates the circulation of blood around the body. This improves the supply of nutrient rich blood required by the cells, aiding the healing process. Improved blood flow also means a more efficient removal of waste substances in the cells- this could be the by-product of energy production or the toxins from tissue damage and inflammation.
Soft Tissue Therapy improves range of movement
Soft tissue therapy techniques aim to encourage flexibility and suppleness in the muscles. Improved flexibility will help to restore the normal range of movement at a joint.
Soft Tissue Therapy reduces the risk of injury
Improved flexibility in the muscles allows them to adapt & react to the external environment more efficiently, reducing the risk of muscle strains & tears.
Soft Tissue Therapy reduces stress and anxiety
Massage is proven to lower the body’s production of stress hormone, cortisol and increases the production of the mood-boosting hormone, serotonin.
